I would first like to congratulate both teams on the win yesterday in our first league game against Sunset. What a wonderful way to start league play. Both teams played extremely well and I am very proud of your efforts over the last 45 days to prepare.
This weekend we have the boys Newberg tournament. The coaches will be attending this tournament starting Friday at 12:45pm until later in the day on Saturday. Our athletes will need early exit from class. Our first game on Friday is at 1:15pm with our second game scheduled for 7:15pm. I would suggest that all of our boys bring there homework with them to the pool if their intention is to stay at the facility. The time between games will be a great opportunity to get some work done.
We will have Friday morning swim practice for the girls team, Lloyd in attendance as always. The boys team will not have morning practice this Friday due to the tournament. Friday evening pool practice for the girls team will be cancelled due to our game in Newberg. I would be really impressed if our girls team could gather for a dryland practice, a little run and maybe some core work :).
Sunday practice this weekend will be cancelled. We believe due to our away games schedule in the coming weeks that Sundays would be better spent getting your school work done and preparing for the next week of early dismissal from school.
