We have scheduled a Parent VS Athletes LHS Waterpolo "Scrimmage" on Sunday, October 23rd, 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm at the MAC club
FOLLOWED by a Pizza Party at the Mac Club at 8:15. Bud Lewis will host the athletes pizza party. We are asking parents for an of $8 donation and a bottle of pop or bubbly water to cover the pizza for parents and other guests Please let me know if you are bringing drinks and how many. We also take the time to honor Bud at this party and then have a great time socializing.
Bud Lewis is our most avid and devoted LHS water polo fan. He has been a long time supporter and throws the pizza party for us at the MAC club annually. He cannot wait to cheer us on during the parent/athlete scrimmage. If you are a new member of the club and have not met Bud please let us know and any one of us will introduce you to him at the games.
MARK your Calendars ~ bring floaties, water wings, inflatable tubes, flippers ~ Parents whatever it takes to stay afloat in the water.
Please arrive by 6:00 pm and suit up to warm up at 6:15. The whistle goes off at 6:30 pm Oct 23 to play Waterpolo! Pizza Party at 8:15 at the MAC.
3. Rooms for State Game Tournament in Corvallis 11/11 and 11/12
State Games will be over the course of two days. You and your athlete have the option of driving to and from Portland or staying at a hotel in
Corvallis. We have blocked out 14 rooms at Salbasgeon Suites. Depending on the room size the cost is between $112 and $117 with 10% room tax (lowest price in town). If you would like a room please contact kim@oregoncitytravel.com and make your reservation. They have a generous
cancellation policy. If you want several athletes (up to 6)in a room you can organize amongst yourselves and rent a room together and share the cost. Again. please make your plans through kim@oregoncitytravel.com.
