LHS Men and Women's Waterpolo take 5th at State Championships

LHS Men and Women's Waterpolo take 5th at State Championships and earn League honors:

Another historical year for LHS Waterpolo Men and Women Team both took 5th in State and finished 2nd in Metro.

Individual athletes also brought Cardinal recognition in State Team Honors and Metro League Honors:

State Team honors:

2nd Team ~ Meg Claypool and Kai Geringer

3rd Team ~ Nicholas Lanker and Audrey Weiss

Metro League honors:

1st Team ~ Kai Geringer, Meg Claypool, Kayla Castillo and Goalie Stephan Kennedy

2nd Team ~ Julian Stark, Haley Boston and Goalie Lizzy Wax

3rd Team ~ Nicholas Lanker and Annie Shephard

AND as our athletes were playing with all their heart our very own Alumni Coach Anna Phelps was being honored for her "prowess in the pool" to the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges Hall of Fame. The first female athlete to ever carry the Hall of Fame torch from Scripps! Congratulations Coach Anna ~ we love you.
