Hello water polo families - We are starting to plan for the fall season, and wanted to get some registration and pre-season information out now to help with your summer planning. Key dates:
May 24, 11:30, Rm 116: Registration opens with a team meeting at Lincoln during lunch period. Our coaches will be there to discuss plans for the summer and next season. Early registration will close July 15. West Sylvan students - we'll be at the LHS Athletic Fair at West Sylvan on May 25 - stop by and say hello!
August 14: Pre-season practice starts. The two weeks before school will include daily-double practices, with pool time and dryland training. This is a really important time for new and returning athletes to get in shape and refine your water polo skills.
August 26th - 28th: Redmond Jamboree. This three-day event is a great way to kick off the season, with a lot of time in the pool. The team will camp in the adjacent park. We'll be looking for parent chaperones as the time gets closer.
August 29: Back to school, and regular season begins! We'll post game and practice information as soon as it is available on the Lincoln blog. If you can't see the calendar, hit the 'view web version' button at the bottom of the page.
